Suddenly my living room aircond blowing hot air......so I tried to contact one of the aircord repair shop in Butterworth : Heng Meng Aircond Hung Suh Ling (+60 12-560 5333)
The technician said - the problem is coming from this area: the CAPACITOR is damaged.See the original capacitor (physical) - I saw a EPCOS BRAND.
The technician replace a new 45 microfarads (µF) capacitor - brand name is ADVANCED QUALITY...weird name (I guess it is a 山寨版的电容).
From what the technician shared me -
45µF = RM180 (including workmanship)
35µF = RM130 (including workmanship)
Normally - when our compressor not working well (no sound)...it is most likely caused by CAPACITOR.
Since my living room Panasonic Aircond is 2 马力, it is advised to apply 45 microfarad capacitor.

How to increase capacitance

- A capacitor's plates (conductors) are positioned closer together.
- Larger plates offer more surface area.
- The dielectric is the best possible insulator for the application.
