The Nine Emperor Gods Festival (Chinese: 九皇爺誕; Malay: Perayaan Sembilan Maharaja Dewa; Thai: เทศกาลกินเจ) or Vegetarian Festival or Jay Festival is a nine-day Taoist celebration beginning on the eve of the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar, celebrated primarily in Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand by the Peranakans (not the entire Overseas Chinese community).

北海Jalan Raja Uda的素食咖喱面，几乎是九皇爷诞必吃的素食之一，一年只卖十多天，24小时营业，这期间经常大排长龙，许多食客慕名从外地来享用一碗美味的素食咖喱面。

为了应付每次都发生的大排长龙，今年咖喱面分成了2个档口，1个专做堂食的，另1个专做打包的，以减少让顾客等候的时间，如果你要打包10包以上，需提早一天联络负责人，否则现场不打包10包以上。

这里除了有著名的素咖喱面，也有许多的素食，总有几种素食美食适合你享用。
